I do not fight only against destruction. I also fight for creation. I work to build systems that work with nature not against it. I work to support indigenous communities in protecting their lands. I work to educate young people about environmental justice. This requires vision and hope. It requires believing that change is possible even when everything suggests otherwise. But this is the work that fills me with purpose. This is the work that makes me feel alive. I want to live in a world where humans are stewards of nature where economic systems honor both people and planet where indigenous wisdom guides decisions. I am building that world with my hands every single day.
